Junior college running back Rachaad White committed Thursday to Arizona State.
White, 6-foot-1, 197 pounds, is from Mt. San Antonio College (California), where he rushed for 1,264 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2019. He announced his commitment via social media.
White decommitted from UCLA before signing day in February. He also was considering Hawaii and Indiana according to 247 Sports, which rates him as a three-star prospect.
ASU is replacing two-year starting running back Eno Benjamin, now with the Arizona Cardinals.
Candidates for the job are returners A.J. Carter and Demetrious Flowers and true freshmen Daniyel Ngata and DeaMonte Trayanum, who entered school early and participate in the first half of spring practice before the coronavirus pandemic.
