Arizona State defensive lineman JoJo Wicker is considering leaving early for the NFL, in part because of the coaching changes.
Wicker has submitted paperwork to the NFL College Advisory Committee to learn about his projected position in the 2018 draft. He then must decide by Jan. 15 whether to enter the draft, an application that is final on Jan. 18.
"I'm going to make my decision after the bowl game," Wicker said Wednesday. "We'll see, I don't know yet."
ASU will have a new head coach next season in Herm Edwards, a new defensive coordinator and at least some new defensive assistants.
