Arizona State football might have left the train station, as suggested with the hiring this week of new head coach Herm Edwards, but is running on parallel tracks through the Sun Bowl on Dec. 29.
ASU was back on the field Friday in its second week of bowl preparation for No. 24 North Carolina State, a team that outgoing head coach Todd Graham said reminds him of Stanford. As a branch off that track, Graham is believed to be a candidate for one or more jobs in college and/or the NFL.
