TEMPE, Ariz. – The Arizona State cross-country team makes the trek south for their first official collegiate competition of the season at the Dave Murray Invitational hosted by the University of Arizona.
Cross-country and distance coach Louie Quintana – now entering his 15th season –has a majority of his athletes entered with some of them running unattached.
“This will be the first time that we put our entire varsity team together at the same time,“ Quintana said. “So, what I’m looking for this weekend – obviously we’re racing in the late afternoon so it’s going to be about 92 degrees – so that’s a challenge in and of itself.
