The Sun Devils return six starters from last year's team that averaged 36.9 points (third in the Pac-12, 16th in the nation). Since offensive coordinator Mike Norvell's arrival, they have ranked 16th, 10th and 14th nationally in scoring. Senior quarterback Mike Bercovici is a first-year starter, but this is his fifth year in the program. An obstacle: ASU lost 1,761 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns when Jaelen Strong declared for the NFL and Cameron Smith suffered a season-ending knee injury.
