The Arizona State Sun Devils (1-0) trailed the San Diego State Aztecs (1-0) by a score of 40-34 at halftime at Wells Fargo Arena on Tuesday night.
The Sun Devils started the game with Romello White, Kodi Justice, Shannon Evans, Tra Holder and Vitaly Shibel on the floor and got off to a slow start, as they trailed 5-0 before they took a 10-9 lead six minutes into the game.
Then, Arizona State led 19-11 after a spark of three blocks in two possessions and buckets from Justice, De’Quon Lake and Remy Martin with 11 and a half minutes left in the first half.
