The Arizona State Sun Devils (6-0) dropped 102 points of offense onto the Xavier Musketeers to win the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational championship game by a score of 102-86 on Friday.
Tra Holder led the way with a career-high 40 points, shooting 14 of 22 from the field and five of eight from three point range. Holder broke his previous single-game scoring record, 35, which was set less than two weeks prior against Northern Arizona.
In back-to-back matchups and the third time in six contests, the Sun Devils trailed at the half before powering through their opponent.
