Coach Bobby Hurley and Arizona State basketball added another transfer on Thursday. Former Ohio State and Northwest Florida State college forward Alonzo Gaffney announced his commitment to the Sun Devils on his Twitter and was first reported by Stadium’s Jeff Goodman.
Last season, Gaffney scored 8.4 points and 5.3 rebounds in 22 minutes per game at Northwest Florida State College. He spent his freshman season in 2019 at Ohio State, where he didn’t see a ton of action with his best outing coming against UMass Lowell. Gaffney scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds in that contest.
