Following a career-high 30-point performance against Utah last Sunday, forward Kianna Ibis scored a game-high 26 points as No. 25 Arizona State picked up their first win over a ranked opponent this season Friday defeating No. 23 California 80-71.
The Sun Devils never trailed in the game as Arizona State shot 52 percent from the field with Cal shooting 54 percent from the field.
The difference in the game was the depth of ASU as the Sun Devils scored 26 bench points compared to just two points for the Golden Bears.
California relies heavily on their starting five with guard Asha Thomas scoring a team-high 25 points while forward Kristine Anigwe scored 24 points.
