Sun Devil fans have been anticipating Monday morning for a short bit. Marcus Bagley cut his list down to three teams a few weeks ago before saying on Twitter he’d announce his pick on July 29.
With ASU, Arizona and Cal all being in the mix, Bagley with this video decided it Maroon and Gold fit him best.
Marcus is the little brother of former Duke star and current Sacramento King player Marvin and the grandson of Sun Devil legend ‘Jumping’ Joe Caldwell. He is listed at 6-foot-7 and over 200 pounds by most recruiting sites.
He is currently playing his high school ball at Sheldon High School in Sacramento, but grew up in the Tempe area.
