Former ASU men’s basketball player Luguentz Dort had a record-setting performance for the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night. In a back-and-forth Game Seven, Dort led all scorers with 30 points, setting the record for most by an undrafted rookie in playoff history.
Dort also set the record for most points in a playoff game by a Thunder rookie, which was recently held by former Sun Devil James Harden (18 points in 2010).
This could not have come at a better time for Dort, who was shooting 31 percent from the field and had 46 points in the other six games combined.
