The Arizona State Sun Devils (7-0) overcame a poor offensive performance to down the San Francisco Dons (3-3) by a final score of 75-57 Saturday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
Five different Sun Devils managed 12 or more points, but Arizona State struggled to produce efficient offensive possessions seemingly all night long, shooting just 46 percent from the field and 4 of 13 from the three-point line.
Junior forward De’Quon Lake was especially ineffective, managing just a single field goal for two points, by far his worst performance of the season.
After allowing a three-pointer to start off the game on defense, the Sun Devils looked every bit the part of the team that has averaged 90 points per game so far this season, going on a 25-3 run to set up a huge lead.
