Arizona State guard Alonzo Verge Jr. has elected to return for his senior season, adding to the Sun Devils’ strong backcourt next year.
The 2020 Pac-12 Sixth Man of the Year, it was announced that Verge would test the waters of the NBA Draft at the end of April. However, his name has now been withdrawn. His fellow backcourt teammate, Remy Martin, who also declared for the draft, has not yet announced a plan to return.
Martin has until August 3, or 10 days after the NBA Draft Combine to determine whether he’ll go pro or return for his senior campaign.
