The overhaul of the Arizona State men's basketball roster continues with the latest addition being sophomore guard D.J Horne, a transfer from Illinois State.
Horne averaged 15.1 points and 3.7 rebounds, shooting 44.6 percent from the field, 42.4 percent from three-point range and 85.4 percent from the free-throw line.
He scored 15 points or more 13 times with a best of 34 coming in a 94-87 loss to Northern Illinois late in the season. He was a third-team all Missouri Valley Conference selection and an all-academic selection a well.
The addition of Horne gives Horne some much-needed depth at guard after the defections of sophomore Jaelen House and senior Holland Woods, both of whom decided to transfer.
