13th-ranked Arizona State (26-5) has played their worst baseball this season over the past week. On Tuesday, the Sun Devils tried to correct their flaws from the past week to gain momentum into their biggest weekend series of the year thus far against No. 4 Oregon State.
Needing a clean slate from the pitching staff in a midweek game against UNLV (20-15), the arms couldn’t close the deal. With a five-run lead into the ninth, four walks started the comeback rally for UNLV in their 10-9 win on a walk-off walk.
