The Arizona State baseball team lost five players to the Major League Baseball draft but there are replacements on the way.
Auburn's Conor Davis indicated on social media Monday he is on his way to Tempe. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
Davis started all 18 games at first base in the curtailed 2020 season. The 6-foot-3, 227-pounder hit .339 (20-for-59) with 17 runs scored, six doubles, three home runs and 14 RBIs. He also led the team in walks with 13.
Davis is a senior using special eligibility relief from the NCAA to play one more college season next spring.
