ASU baseball looks to close out a series sweep of Cal State Bakersfield Sunday.
The Sun Devils have won the first two games of the series winning 12-6 Friday and 4-2 Saturday.
On Saturday, starter Eli Lingos pitched a solid outing going 7.2 innings allowing 2 runs (1 earned) on 8 hits to go along with 2 walks and 6 strikeouts.
Lingos finished his start strong after allowing a run in the third and fourth innings and received run support in the fifth inning to secure his 5th win of the season.
Arizona State scored 4 runs in the fifth inning on RBI singles from designated hitter Tyler Williams and third baseman Jeremy McCuin followed by a 2-run home run from the reigning Pac-12 Hitter of the Week Gage Canning proving to be the decisive blow for CSUB.
