Right fielder Gage Canning led the way for the Sun Devils (31-18, 14-11 Pac-12) from the leadoff spot, going 4-for-5, including two doubles and three runs batted in.
The freshman powered the Sun Devils' five-hit, six-run seventh frame with a bases-loaded, three-run RBI double, which gave ASU a 7-3 advantage over the Bruins (24-27, 11-14).
