UCLA’s Noah Cardenas hit a pair of solo home runs Saturday as the Bruins completed a series sweep over No. 23 Arizona State baseball.
Cardenas homered to left field in the third and fifth innings at Phoenix Municipal Stadium in the regular season finale for both teams, a 3-0 UCLA win. Both are expected to be at-large selections in the 64-team NCAA Tournament field, which will be announced Monday.
Jared Glenn started on the mound for ASU after pitching the final 1 2/3 innings in an 8-5 loss Friday. Glenn (5-2) pitched the first five innings followed by Graham Osman for an inning and Will Levine.
