ASU athletics finishes 20th in 2020-21 Directors' Cup standings

Arizona State athletics finished 20th nationally and fourth among Pac-12 schools in the final 2020-21 Directors' Cup standings.

The Directors' Cup is a measure since 1993-94 of on-field athletic success for up to 19 sports in Division I postseason competition.

Texas finished first with 1,252 points, ending Stanford's 25-year streak at the top. The Cardinal were second (1195.75) followed by Michigan, North Carolina and Florida.

In the Pac-12, USC was sixth, UCLA 13th, ASU 20th, Oregon 25th, Arizona 27th, California 40th, Colorado 52nd and Oregon State 55th.

ASU had 840 points not including any for football because the Sun Devils opted not to play in a bowl game although eligible due to COVID concerns.
