Arizona State soccer doubled its wins in 2018 and climbed three places to a tie for seventh in the Pac-12.
Third-year coach Graham Winkworth believes more progress is possible this season, which begins Thursday at Cal State Fullerton followed by a home game against Central Arkansas on Sunday.
"The squad is deep, talented and has potential," Winkworth said. "If we stay healthy and work hard, we can make the postseason this year," something ASU has not accomplished since 2014.
The Sun Devils return 19 players including 2018 leading scorers Nicole Douglas (9 goals/22 points) and Marlene Schimmer (5/11).
