When the NFL draft gets underway Thursday night, Arizona State wide receiver and kick return specialist Brandon Aiyuk could be the first player with local ties to hear his name called.
Aiyuk is projected to be a late-first or early-second round selection.
He was one of four Sun Devils that went to the NFL combine in Indianapolis in February, with the others being running back Eno Benjamin, center Cohl Cabral and punter MIchael Turk.
