When it came to the most recent list of additions to the Arizona State football program, it was more about quality than quantity.
Head coach Herm Edwards and recruiting coordinator Antonio Pierce added 10 players Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period with those 10 players hailing from seven different states. Six are defensive players and four are on offense.
"When you look at the process for how this really works. We're always looking for our DNA. What fits and what are your needs," Edwards said. "For the most part we went into this this year thinking we needed to upgrade certain parts of our team — length, height, width, speed, was a big factor.
