For the first time in two seasons, Arizona State on Saturday might get a look at what goes on behind the curtain on the Oregon sideline.
Confused?
Let's explain.
In 2015, nearly two weeks after Utah players noticed that ASU's defense at times seemed to know what was coming, former Oregon coach Mark Helfrich had staffers hold up curtains during the Ducks' game at Sun Devil Stadium.
The point: To help shield the team's offensive signals from curious eyes. Two weeks later, Washington did the same in Tempe. Needless to say, football sidelines in the desert never looked so colorful.
