Jake Plummer, who helped lead Arizona State to the Rose Bowl, and former Sun Devils coach Dennis Erickson have been selected for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, along with 12 other players and one other coach.
Plummer became ASU's starting quarterback his freshman year. His college career culminated with an 11-1 season in 1996 which included a victory over No. 1 Nebraska 19-0 and loss to No. 4 Ohio State.
Plummer passed for 8,626 yards with 64 touchdowns and had 34 passes intercepted over four seasons with the Sun Devils. He was also the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year in 1996.
