No doubt, the Arizona State Sun Devils spent a lot of time this week watching film of their next opponent, Oregon State. But a couple of ASU defenders have good first hand knowledge of the Beavers' top players. And they go way back.
Sun Devils sophomore linebacker Darien Butler played high school football with Beavers sophomore running back Jermar Jefferson at Harbor City Narbonne in Southern California while junior defensive back Chase Lucas was a teammate of Oregon State junior linebacker Hamilcar Rashed at Chandler High School.
