Yet another Californian has announced his intention to join the Arizona State football family.
The Sun Devils latest commitment came Wednesday from wide receiver Kobe Stewart out of Harbor City Narbonne, the same school that turned out current ASU linebacker Darien Butler.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound wide receiver was recruited by ASU linebackers coach and recruiting coordinator Antonio Pierce, who has ties to Southern California, having coached there.
Stewart had 16 offers from Division I schools, with the only other Pac-12 offer from Oregon. Among the others were Tennessee, Louisville and West Virginia.
