In May, Arizona State redshirt junior linebacker Davon Durant plead guilty to a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. The plea stemmed from Durant’s arrest and subsequent charging of disorderly conduct and domestic assault. He was fortunate enough to have two other counts of disorderly conduct and the domestic assault charge dropped as part of his plea deal.
That, however, did not keep the Arizona State Sun Devils from dismissing Durant from the school on Wednesday.
Sports Illustrated reported that head coach Todd Graham talked about his dismissal. Durant had been sentenced to two years of supervised probation and was suspended indefinitely following his court date.
