Davon Durant and the Arizona State football program are all in limbo at the moment. Durant met with the ASU board regarding a March domestic violence incident that resulted in his expulsion from the school.
Durant met with the board last week regarding re-enrollment to the school, and more importantly to the team, his ability to play linebacker.
Transferring from Butler County Community College, Durant was one of the four-star recruits in this year’s class. A late verbal after previously being committed to South Carolina made Arizona State appear that much stronger for next season.
The incident the board is overhearing is the report that Durant hit a woman in the face and grabbed her around the neck.
