Arizona State basketball debuts Jumpin' Joe-inspired uniforms

The Arizona State men's basketball team honors its past with adidas 2017 Hardwood Classics uniforms.

The uniforms debut against Washington on Wednesday. They are inspired by Jumpin' Joe Caldwell, an ASU Hall of Fame member.

The base uniform is cream with checkered trim in Sun Devil maroon and gold on the jersey and shorts.

ASU retired Caldwell's No. 23 in 2010. He played for the Sun Devils from 1961-64 before being drafted by the Detroit Pistons No. 2 overall in 1964 and playing 11 professional basketball seasons.

Caldwell averaged 18.2 points and 11.2 rebounds per game in his collegiate career.
