The NCAA had its baseball selection show on Monday morning. The Sun Devils will be headed to Austin, Texas in a regional hosted by the No. 2 seed Texas.
The Sun Devils are the two-seed in the Austin Regional and open up against Fairfield from the MAAC. Fairfield was one of the most interesting stories from the 2021 college baseball season. Despite falling in the MAAC Tournament, Fairfield earned an at-large bid due to having the second-best RPI in the country behind a 37-3 record.
On the other side it Texas and its two big arms Ty Madden and Pete Hansen.
