Coach Bobby Hurley got some good news as guard Alonzo Verge has decided to return for his senior season according to a source close to the program.
Verge, a native of Chicago, opted to declare for the NBA draft, as did backcourt Remy Martin, who would also be a senior. Rules are in place to allow underclassmen to explore their draft options, get feedback from NBA personnel and still return to college if they withdraw from the draft by a particular date - in this case Aug.
