After leaving Arizona State, JUCO LB lands at Marshall

Former Arizona State linebacker Davon Durant has had a rough past since he signed with the Sun Devils earlier this year. The premiere JUCO linebacker was left Arizona State after he was charged in a domestic violence incident in March that involved his then-girlfriend.

According to College Football Talk, Durant has transferred into Conference USA and will be eligible to practice with the Marshall Thundering Herd this season. Due to NCAA regulations, he will not be able to play until 2016, where he will have two years of eligibility left to play.

“We are fully aware of Davon’s situation at Arizona State and take very seriously all of the issues he once faced,” Herd head coach Doc Holliday said in a statement.
