TEMPE, Ariz.- No. 9 Arizona State (37-8, Pac-12 18-3) picked up its first series win over No. 4 UCLA (40-8, Pac-12 16-5) since 2015 in walk-off fashion thanks to sophomore Emily Cazares' three run homer to right center field on Sunday afternoon at Farrington Stadium on Senior Day. The Sun Devils' victory gives ASU a two-game lead for first place in the Pac-12 with three more games left in the regular season.
After the win, the Sun Devils have 18 conference wins under their belt. This will be the third time in program history reaching the feat as it happened during the Women's College World Series run in 2008 and again in 2012.
