TEMPE, Ariz. – For the fifth consecutive year, the Arizona State University athletics department is second in the Pac-12 Conference for most teams recognized by the NCAA for their high 2017-18 Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores.
Eight ASU teams earned APR scores in the top-10 percent, as announced by the NCAA Wednesday. This is the most teams recognized in the top 10 percent for APR in ASU history.
Women's basketball, men's golf, women's golf, gymnastics, men's tennis, women's tennis, volleyball and water polo all reached the top 10 percent. For women's golf and gymnastics, it is their third year in a row earning a top-10 recognition while men's golf earned its fifth consecutive and volleyball earned its sixth consecutive.
