The third-ranked Arizona State men's basketball team continued their best start in program history with a 95-61 victory over Longwood Tuesday night.
The Sun Devils trailed early two times in the contest but led the duration of the game after Shannon Evans II drilled a three-pointer to put ASU on top of the Lancers 10-8 with 14:46 left in the first half.
Arizona State went into the halftime leading 35-30 behind Tra Holder's 10 points heading into the break. Mickey Mitchell had his presence felt from tip-off as he slammed home a dunk, notched two steals and drew a charge in a span of three minutes.
