College baseball head coaching veteran Dave Serrano will interview for the Arizona State pitching coach job Monday.
Serrano, 52, recently resigned after six seasons as head coach at Tennessee. Before that, he took UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton to the College World Series.
In 13 seasons as a head coach, Serrano has won 446 games. Only 11 other coaches have taken two different teams to the CWS.
ASU head coach Tracy Smith doubled as pitching coach in 2017 after firing Brandon Higelin before the season began. The Sun Devils suffered through their first losing season since 1985, going 23-32, and tied for last in the Pac-12 (8-22).
