TEMPE, Ariz. – The No. 11 Arizona State women’s golf team finds itself in second-place after two rounds of play at the 2016 PING/ASU Invitational hosted at ASU Karsten Golf Club (par-72/6,337 yards). Recording a cumulative six-under 282, the Sun Devils at seven-under for the tournament, sit just one shot off the lead.
“I am extremely pleased with how the team did today.” said head coach Missy Farr-Kaye. ”The girls have practiced really well this past week. I am really happy for them, as their hard work is starting to pay off.”
Continuing to pace the Sun Devils, freshman Linnea Strom recorded a one-under, 74 to move to four-under for the tournament.
