TORONTO – Diamondbacks right-hander Zack Greinke didn’t mind the intrusion of the designated hitter on Saturday; he said it was nice to be able to focus solely on pitching. He did notice one drawback – he was bored, at times, during the Diamondbacks’ 6-0 win over the Toronto Blue Jays -- but, upon further reflection, he wondered if it was just the game itself.
“The game just seemed a lot slower,” Greinke said. “Maybe just because you didn’t have anything to worry about … (But) it seemed like a slow one.”
It could have had something to do with the competition.
