Thursday night's 8-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers was a night that Diamondbacks pitcher Zack Godley will never forget.
The 25-year-old rookie tossed six scoreless innings in his major-league debut, and his entire family was at Chase Field to see it.
After the game, the Diamondbacks' Twitter account tweeted a video of Godley being greeted by his family outside the clubhouse. The second the door opened, Godley was met with a round of cheering and applause.
His longtime girlfriend Autumn Cathree Craig was also there to share the memorable moment.
It's hard to believe that Godley was pitching with Class-A Visalia just 35 days ago.
