More than 300 people voted in our Twitter poll asking if the former Diamondbacks pitcher, who has made controversial statements on social media, belongs in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
More than 100 comments were also left on the azcentral Facebook account's post on the topic.

It was a close vote with 52 percent saying that Schilling did belong in the Hall of Fame and 48 percent saying that he did not.
