Wilhelmsen DFA'd to make room for Greinke

The D-backs have designated right-handed reliever Tom Wilhelmsen for assignment, reinstated right-hander Zack Greinke from the Paternity Leave List, and reinstated outfielder Socrates Brito (dislocated finger) from the 60-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Reno.

Wilhelmsen, 33, appeared in 27 games for Arizona this season, posting a 4.44 ERA in 26 1/3 innings. Prior to signing with the D-backs this past offseason, Wilhelmsen had posted a 3.01 ERA in six seasons for the Mariners, though he was traded by Seattle in 2015 and re-signed with the club last June.
