This weekend’s series against the Cubs was a rough one. The Diamondbacks lost three of four games on the heels of some poor pitching, as the team allowed 27 runs. This is not something that Arizona– who gave up so much to revamp their rotation this offseason– wants to be seeing.
Needles to say, there were a lot more “bads” than “rads” this time around.
Rad: Robbie Ray
Despite walking four batters, Ray allowed just two runs in six innings against the Cubs. Considering he was pitching against a potent Cubs lineup, this is really spectacular.
