You don’t have to visit the urban dictionary to understand what Diamondbacks pitcher Shelby Miller means when he says the Diamondbacks this spring are “vibing.”
You just either have to spend some time in Arizona’s clubhouse or check out the gaudy numbers the team is putting up this Cactus League season.
“Look at how we’re playing, man,” Miller, the Diamondbacks’ No. 2 starter, said. “We’re vibing in here now and I think that’s what it takes to win. I think you’ve got to be vibing a little bit, yeah. We’ve got a good vibe over here.”
Manager Chip Hale couldn’t tell you if “vibing” is a new word, but he kind of likes it.
