Diamondbacks ace Zack Greinke continues to work his way back from a left oblique strain, tossing off the mound in the bullpen ahead of Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, but the recovery process has been frustrating for Greinke.
"It would have been nice to be back a week ago," he said.
Greinke has been sidelined since exiting a June 28 start against the Phillies. The Diamondbacks at one point were hopeful Greinke could make a return next week in Milwaukee during their 10-game road trip, but it's now unclear when he'll be ready. On Tuesday, he threw between 120 and 150 feet and said it was the first time he was close to normal.
