Torey Lovullo wants Diamondbacks to clean up their All-Star voting participation

LOS ANGELES – Manager Torey Lovullo was not happy with his team for not fully participating in the players’ portion of All-Star voting, telling them during a team meeting that it’s something he wants to see improve next year.

Lovullo made the comments during a team meeting on Sunday morning, parts of which were shown during the team’s broadcast on Fox Sports Arizona. He had just informed the team that right-hander Zack Greinke had been named an All-Star but that third baseman Eduardo Escobar had fallen short. Lovullo was asked to clarify his comments before Tuesday’s game against the Dodgers.
