This really isn’t a true top-five list. Instead, these are the best games in a variety of categories. Thanks to Major League Baseball not being a total monster like certain other sports leagues, these games are also readily available online. Also note: I’m being pedantic and stating that the millennium began in 2001, which is mathematically accurate but not the way most people calculate it. I don’t think it would make much difference, but whatever.
Also, while this isn’t a “this day in history” type post, Game 1 last year was on October 27th, and Game 6 in 2011 was also on October 27th.
