Another season has started and, to no Diamondbacks’ fan’s surprise (at least any who has been around from before last year’s playoff run), the Snakes’ bullpen has been…not good. Glancing at the numbers doesn’t leave you dumbstruck in horror, but 5 bullpen losses so far (tied for second most in MLB) has left fans dissatisfied despite the generally average statistics they are posting. Last year’s team benefited from an AMAZING run from the bullpen from September to October, and much of the credit for that run seems to be heaped on Paul Sewald for pushing everyone else down an inning and being The Man who unequivocally would get the ball in the ninth.
