Lovullo led a Diamondbacks team that lost over 100 games two years ago to one of the most incredible playoff runs imaginable. He made all the right pitching decisions even when they were criticized at the time.
Lovullo turned this franchise around in ways we may never see again, and he did it without high-priced free agents.
