Despite lack of coaching experience, Cora has been interviewed before. Torey Lovullo is still regarded as the favorite for the job, but add Cora's name to the list of candidates.
D-backs Will Interview Lovullo for Management Position
Speaking of Lovullo, he hasn't interviewed yet, apparently, and Phil Nevin is still regarded (at least by "sources") as a candidate. Really, the quietness and secrecy of the job searches is a refreshing change, but don't be surprised if the announcement surprises everyone, much as the announcement of Hazen as GM did.
